Business Development (Overseas Government and Enterprise Sales)

Responsibilities

Identify and cultivate new business opportunities with overseas government agencies and enterprise clients in target markets
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in the assigned territories
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, corporate decision-makers, and industry influencers
Lead the end-to-end sales process from prospecting and qualification to contract negotiation and closure
Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to tailor solutions to client needs and drive customer satisfaction
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and business cases to prospective clients, demonstrating the value proposition of our products and services
Track and report on sales performance metrics, pipeline activity, and market feedback to management
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote brand awareness and generate leads
Travel domestically and internationally as needed to meet with clients and prospects

Required Skills

Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field
3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in B2B technology sales or government procurement
Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and building relationships with government agencies or enterprise clients
Strong understanding of government procurement processes and enterprise sales cycles
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade at all levels of an organization
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required

Preferred Skills and Experience

Master's degree in business administration or related field
Experience working with international clients and navigating cultural differences
Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in government and enterprise sectors, such as cybersecurity, cloud computing, or digital transformation
Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales automation tools
Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment, with the ability to thrive in ambiguity and drive results
Fluency in multiple languages, particularly those relevant to target markets

Benefits

Salary

7,000,000 JPY / year or more (May vary depending on your location). Competitive salary with commission and bonus incentives based on performance.

Work Conditions

9:00 - 18:00 (including 1 hour break) Five-day work week
