Geospatial Data Scientist (Mining Focus)
Responsibilities
・Develop and validate technologies for new development projects
・Develop and validate satellite data analysis techniques
・Develop new technology for R&D projects
・Conduct extensive research and development using satellite data, geospatial data, GIS tools, etc.
Required Skills
・Research experience in mathematical and information sciences
・Experience in working with satellite data, geospatial data
・Programming experience with Python, R, C, or C++
・Ph.D. in mathematical, information science, engineering OR equivalent level of work experience and skills (negotiable)
・Reading and writing skills in English (Our internal documents are in English)
Preferred Skills and Experience
・Business level English
・Research experience using satellite data, geospatial data, GIS tools, etc.
・Experience in working outside of the area of expertise, software engineer, designer, machine learning engineer, etc.
・Experience in committing to OSS
・Experience leading development or research projects
・Experience participating in data science competitions such as Kaggle and its results
・Research experience at overseas research institutes or companies
Benefits
Salary
～8,000,000 JPY (May vary depending on your location)

9:00 - 18:00 (including 1 hour break) Five-day work week
