Solafune, Inc. exhibited at the Special Equipment Exhibition & Conference for Anti-Terrorism (SEECAT) '26, held at Tokyo Big Sight from Wednesday, September 30 to Friday, October 2, 2026. We sincerely thank everyone who visited our booth.

At our booth, we introduced Solafune's AI analysis technologies for GEOINT (Geospatial Intelligence), OSINT (Open-Source Intelligence), SIGINT (Signals Intelligence), and more, through hands-on, quest-style exhibits.

Our centerpiece exhibit, "Swarm Drone," drew a great many questions in particular. In this report, we introduce this initiative for everyone who showed interest at the venue.

About Swarm Drone

At the venue, we showcased a "Swarm Drone" simulation based on a flood disaster response scenario. To direct the limited number of drones available immediately after a disaster to the locations most in need of verification, we presented a system that combines GEOINT such as satellite imagery, OSINT such as social media and news, and SIGINT in the form of radio signal information, linking them to situational assessment by multiple drones.

The exhibit featured three quests: GEOINT, OSINT, and SIGINT. Each allowed visitors to experience a different task: assessing flood extent from satellite imagery, searching for people using social media posts and other clues, and narrowing down locations using radio signals from smartphones and emergency beacons.

Different types of information are organized under common attributes such as "location," "people who may be present," and "reliability of the information." Candidate sites are then ranked for priority verification based on the severity of the situation and the degree to which they remain unconfirmed. Solafune's Planetary Intelligence OS (PI-OS) is a platform that analyzes different types of information across sources to support decision-making. In this exhibit, AI interpreted this information and generated a plan, including the number of drones to dispatch, their routes, and the rationale for dispatch, enabling rapid decision support.

Final approval of the plan rests with the operator, and the video and information captured by the drones feed into situational assessment and then into planning the next sites to verify. The exhibit presented this entire workflow, from information gathering and plan proposal through human judgment and on-site verification.

The simulation used open-source flight control software that is also used on real drones. Visitors watched multiple drones fly through an environment that recreated the buildings and terrain of a real city in physically accurate 3D, avoiding buildings, no-fly zones, and other drones.

*This exhibit was a PC-based simulation. Real-world operation would require obtaining flight permits, conducting safety tests, and other steps.
